Speaking to Qatar's official news agency QNA, an official with the Qatari Foreign Ministry said that they approved the appointment of Nizar Hassan al-Hiraki as the Syrian National Coalition's ambassador in Doha.
The official said that Qatar extended diplomatic immunity to al-Hiraki and his assistants.
