SARAJEVO
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic apologized for Srebrenica massacre.
Nikolic told Bosnia-Herzegovina's state television BHT, "I kneel and ask for forgiveness for Serbia for the crime committed in Srebrenica. I apologize for the crimes committed by any individual in the name of our state and our people."
In 2010, the Serbian parliament passed a historic decision condemning the "Srebrenica massacre".
Former Serbian President Boris Tadic had attended a commemoration ceremony together with Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan on July 11, 2010, and apologized for the painful incidents.
Zeljko Komsic, Croatian member of Bosnia-Herzegovina presidency council, said upon the apology of Nikolic that it would recover relations between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as drop the tension.
