Saudi Arabia said on Saturday that Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had ordered sending three fully-equipped mobile hospitals to Egypt to decrease the pressure on Egyptian hospitals after a recent security crackdown on demonstrators protesting the military coup in the country, sources said.

The Saudi Press Agency, SPA, reported Saudi Arabia will send doctors, technicians as well as medical appliances along with the mobile hospitals to support the Egyptian people.

Besides, the news of SPA stressed that the "people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their government are standing in one line by their sisterly people of Egypt."

Saudi King Abdullah had earlier issued a statement of support for Egypt's interim government, describing pro-democracy protests as "terrorism" and "attempts to destabilize" Egypt.

"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its people and government stood and stands by today with its brothers in Egypt against terrorism", he said in a message read out on state TV on Friday.

Saudi Arabia has supported the military-backed interim government since Egypt's first elected President Mohamed Morsi was deposed on July 3, pledging $5 billion in aid following his ouster.
