CAIRO
Ousted President Mohamed Morsi's wife has sounded confidence that the toppled leader will be reinstated to office.
"He will be back," Mrs Naglaa told pro-Morsi supporters camping out in the Rabaa al-Adawiya Square shortly before the Eid prayers on Thursday.
She said that she was accustomed to hearing good news of the Eid Eve.
"Though I have not seen him (Morsi) or heard from him, he sends his regards to you and he will be back," she added.
Morsi has not been seen in public and his whereabouts is not known since his ouster by the powerful army on July 3 after mass protests against his regime.
Ever since his overthrow, pro-Morsi demonstrators have been staging daily rallies and sit-ins to defend his democratic legitimacy and demand his reinstatement.
