JERUSALEM
A Jewish man on Friday was shot dead by an Israeli security guard after he shouted "Allah'u Akbar" at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
The Israeli media reported that a 46 years old Israeli citizen screamed "Allah'u Akbar" at the Western Wall and also tried to pull something out of his pocket, causing a security guard to shoot at him. The shooter defended himself, saying that he had thought that the person was a Palestinian attacker.
The paramedics tried to resuscitate him but he died from his several wounds.
The Israeli police started an investigation into the incident.
