NABLUS (AA) – Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers in the West Bank town of Nablus on Tuesday.
Palestinian official Ghassan Daghlas said settlers attacked villagers and houses in the village of Ouref in southern Nablus.
According to Daghlas, Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters and rubber bullets toward Palestinian villagers following clashes with the settlers.
There are around 20,000 Israeli settlers in Nablus.
Assaults by Israeli settlers have increased in the West Bank in recent months, especially in areas adjacent to Jewish settlements.
