JERUSALEM
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu criticized Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's meeting with the leader of Hamas, Khaled Mashal in Cairo.
In a statement made on efforts for consensus between the Fatah movement and Hamas under the mediation of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, Netanyahu underlined that Mahmoud Abbas embraced on Thursday the leader of a terrorist organization which wanted to wipe off Israel from the map.
"Such a behaviour is not the behaviour of someone who wants peace," Netanyahu also said.
