Nuclear negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 countries will continue until a final deal is reached, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said on Tuesday.
"We are continuing to negotiate for the next couple of days… This does not mean we are extending our deadline....We are taking the time, the days, that we still need to finalize the agreement," she said.
The first self-imposed deadline to reach a final nuclear deal between the sides was June 30. However, this was extended to July 7, just hours before the previous deadline was reached.
"We might see some ministers leaving in the next hours and then being ready to come back in the coming hours and days," Mogherini said.
She added that the negotiating teams will be working on the text of a final deal, while coordination meetings are expected to be held in the next few hours in Vienna.
