French Minister of Defense Jean-Yves Le Drian said that they estimated the cost of their military intervention in Mali to be around 30 million euros in the past 12 days.
Speaking to the France24 TV station on Wednesday, Le Drian indicated that transportation and logistics operations were highly costly.
France currently has 2,300 troops in Mali.
The French media announced that the French Defense Ministry allocates 630 million euros per year for overseas military operations.
