BRUSSELS
European Union is considering UK's proposal to put Lebanon based Hezbollah's military wing on the EU's list of terrorist organizations.
France and Germany support British request to list Hezbollah as a terrorist organization whereas Italy, Austria, Ireland, The Czech Republic and Slovakia suggest such a move may complicate political problems in Lebanon.
Spokespersons of Catherine Ashton EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, have said the EU member states are still discussing the issue.
Israeli President Simon Perez on his visit to Brussels in March had called on the EU to declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization accusing them of staging 20 terrorist attacks including a deadly terrorist attack in Bulgaria and their growing role in the Syrian civil war.
Hezbollah is accused of carrying out a bus bombing which killed five Israelis and a driver in Bulgaria on July 18, 2012.
