Brazil win FIFA Confederations Cup 2013

Brazil defeated the world and European champions Spain 3-0 and won the Confederations Cup fourth time on Sunday. 

The final game was refereed by Bjorn Kuipers of Holland and 73,531 spectators watched the match at the historical Maracanã Stadium in Rio. 

Fred scored twice against Spain in 2nd and 48th min. and Spain's Barcelona's fresh transfer Neymar scored the second goal of Brazil in 44th min. 

The reigning world and European champions Spain missed a penalty kick with Ramos in 55th min. 

Piqué was shown red card in 68th min. and Spain finished the game with 10 players. 

Brazil have won the FIFA Confederations Cup fourth time and this time as the hosts; on the other hand.

Italy took the third place  

Italy finished the championship in third place as they beat Uruguay in penalty shoot-out after the game and additional time ended 2-2.

The match for the third place at Fonte Nova Stadium in Salvador City was refereed by Algeria's Djamel Haimoudiand.
