London based Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) announced 93 people were killed and hundreds were injured at the attack. SNHR also said that a total of 174 people got killed in Syria.
Abu Ahmad al-Halfawi, an official at the press center belonging to opposition in Halfaya, told AA that the bakery was the only bakery in the town and hundreds of people were waiting in the queue to get bread during the attack.
He said they had the names of 93 people who were killed in the attack but they did not know the exact number of the people killed yet.
Al Halfawi said the town was under their control since last week and the people were under scarce conditions since there was no food, power and heat.
