TRIPOLI
11 people were killed in a clash between tribesmen and security forces on duty at the Algeria border, in the southwest of Libya.
An argument between a young tribesman, and a soldier on duty in Derz along the Algeria border escalated into an armed conflict killing 3 soldiers and 8 tribesmen, tribal sources said.
The same sources claimed that the security forces set the houses of some tribesmen to fire following the conflict, and some locals attempted to flee into Algeria, but not allowed in by the security forces.
