CAIRO
Arab League's Syria meeting has begun.
The meeting is a preparatory meeting, at the level of delegates, to prepare for the ministerial meeting.
The representatives would discuss the latest developments in Syria in light of the increasing speculation of directing a military strike against Syria.
Secretary General of Arab League Nabil Al Arabi said the Head of Syrian National Coalition Ahmad Al Jarba would talk in the meeting of Arab League at the level of foreign ministers.
The Arab League had brought forward a planned Arab foreign ministers' meeting devoted to discussing the Syria crisis from Tuesday to Sunday.
Meanwhile, a high-level source in the Arab League Secretariat-General denied that the pan-Arab body had endorsed a proposed US military strike against Syria.
Al-Arabi, the source added, stressed the necessity of taking the issue before the UN Security Council before taking any decision.
