A "Friends of Syria" meeting took place in the Italian capital of Rome.
Speaking at the meeting, the President of the Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces, Ahmad Moaz al-Khatib underlined that they did not hesitate from saying they were Muslim warriors.
"Our Islam is for living with dignity, in justice and in peace," al-Khatib stressed.
Touching on the Free Syrian Army (FSA), al-Khatib indicated that they wanted to see an end to an arms embargo on the FSA.
The territorial integrity of Syria is our red line, al-Khatib also said.
