Assistant to Egyptian President Muhammad Mursi for community outreach (civil society communication), Dr. Imad Abdul-Ghafoor Abdul-Ghani on Saturday said that "President Mursi needed to put into action his words on being the president of all Egyptians".
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), Abdul-Ghafoor underlined that Mursi's words carried the value of a magic wand that could solve all problems.
"We need to convince the people of Egypt and not the politicians," Abdul-Ghafoor stressed.
On relations between the Muslims and Christians, Abdul-Ghafoor noted that Egypt has never been the site of a civil war between the Muslims and Christians.
"Egypt will never be the site of a civil war between the Muslims and Christians," Abdul-Ghafoor also said.
