BAGHDAD
Seventeen people were killed and at least 50 others were injured in three bombings in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Monday, a security source said.
The source said four people were killed and nine others were injured when a booby-trapped car exploded in Al-Mahmoudiya, southern Baghdad.
He added that five more people were killed and 17 others were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a local market in the same area.
Eight more people were killed and 19 others were injured when a booby-trapped car exploded on the side of the road in Al-Horreyah, western Baghdad, the source said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
