The ancient Devil’s Castle in Turkey's Ardahan
The ancient Devil’s Castle (Şeytan Kalesi in Turkish) sits on the edge of a cliff in the Karacay Canyon, north of Yildirimtepe village in the eastern Turkish province of Ardahan. It is not known when the structure was built. It is thought to have been founded during the rule of the Urartians.
