Dog Festival in Nepal
Nepalese women worship a dog during the "Kukur Tihar" or "Dog Worship Day" in Kathmandu, Nepal on October 20, 2025. According to Hindu tradition dogs are the messengers of Yamraj, the god of death. Dogs are worshipped to acknowledge their role in providing security and being humans best friend, on the second day of five day long most important Hindu festival Tihar.
