HELSINKI (AA) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday said Turkey could carry out mutual tasks with Rovio Entertainment Ltd. which has developed the Angry Birds educational game concept and a new educational method with physical and digital materials.

Erdogan, accompanied by his wife Emine Erdogan and several ministers, visited the headquarters of Rovio after his visit to Finnish Parliament Speaker’s Office.

Received by the company's officials, Erdogan was informed about the company's products and activities. The prime minister said he believed the works of the company would also be useful for Turkey.

"We can carry out mutual tasks. Turkish institutions such as the Ministry of National Education and the Higher Education Board can contact Rovio, who agree to serve entertainment and educational programs if they find a partner company in Turkey," Erdogan noted.

Erdogan also said he spoke to Serdar Soganci, a Turkish engineer who presided the crew that developed Angry Birds mobile game application in Rovio, an application with millions of customers.

The Turkish engineer Serdar Soganci is among the first software engineers of the company.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Soganci said he started working for the company in 2010 and at the time there were only 16 workers in the company.
