US President Donald Trump departed the United Arab Emirates on Friday, concluding his Gulf tour, according to a livestream of his departure.
“It's been a tremendous time, and now it's time to go back home,” Trump said earlier at the opening ceremony of the US-UAE Business Dialogue.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the official farewell for the US President and his delegation at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi, the Emirates News Agency WAM.
As the aircraft carrying the US president departed, it was escorted by a formation of military jets, the agency added.
The UAE was the third and final stop on Trump’s regional trip, following visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, where he held high-level meetings focused on regional security, investment, and technology cooperation.
