A US-Israeli attack targeted an industrial methanol production complex in Dayyer port in Iran’s Bushehr province on Friday evening, according to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency on Saturday

The agency reported that two projectiles struck the pier of the Kaveh Petrochemical methanol facility in the Dayyer area, causing damage to the pier’s control room.

Initial reports indicated that no damage was caused to the methanol production facilities and that the main units of the complex continued operating without disruption.

No casualties were reported in the attack, the agency added.

The US and Israel have maintained airstrikes on Iran since Feb. 28, killing so far over 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure while disrupting global markets and aviation.
