UAE condemns Israeli attacks on villages in West Bank
Statement calls on Israeli government to punish those responsible

ISTANBUL
The United Arab Emirates expressed its strong condemnation Thursday of attacks on villages and civilians by Israelis occupying Palestinian land in the West Bank.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned a recent attack in the town of Kafr Malik near the city of Ramallah which left three Palestinians dead and seven wounded and called on the Israeli government to punish those responsible.
The statement noted that the repetition of such “provocative” actions deepens the cycle of hatred and instability, emphasizing that all parties have a responsibility to protect civilians within the framework of international law.
The statement also called on the international community to take action against Israel's violations and to exert pressure to end illegal practices that threaten the two-state solution.
During the June 25 attack in Kafr Malik, a group of Israelis set Palestinians’ homes and vehicles on fire. The attackers also opened fire on residents who tried to resist the attack.
According to Palestinian data, as a result of the Israeli army and settlers increasing their attacks in East Jerusalem and the West Bank in parallel with Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza, at least 1,000 Palestinians have lost their lives and approximately 7,000 have been injured.
