TEHRAN

Turkish parliament speaker Binali Yildrim arrived in Iranian capital Tehran on Friday on an official visit.

Yildirim was received by Turkey's Ambassador to Tehran Riza Hakan Tekin and Iran-Turkey friendship parliamentary group head Ahmet Ali Riza Beygi, as well as other officials.

He is scheduled to visit Ali Larijani, his Iranian counterpart, and Leonid Slutsky, head of Russian State Duma's committee on international affairs.

The Turkish parliament speaker recently visited Kyrgyzstan and China where he met a number of officials.
