The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) distributed food packages Tuesday to 150 families in need in Jordan’s capital.
TIKA distributed the aid in cooperation with the Turkish Hayir Society.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Turkish Hayir Society president Muhammed et-Turk thanked TIKA and Turkey for the charity work in Jordan.
Murat Karagoz, Turkey’s ambassador to Jordan, was also present during the distribution.
TIKA also provided food aid to 250 Palestinian refugee families in the city of Cerash in Jordan last week as part of Ramadan aid.
