ANKARA
Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin arrived in Rabat on Friday for an official visit to Morocco.
Kalin conveyed a letter from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the North African country’s king, Mohammed VI.
He also met with Moroccan Prime Minister Saadeddine Othmani and Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita to discuss of trade, investment diplomatic ties as well as an increase in high-level visits.
The sides agreed to cooperate in the fight against the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) and on the activation of the high-level strategic cooperation council established between the two countries in 2013.
They underlined that cooperation must continue under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to uphold the status of Jerusalem.
