Southern Iran shaken by 5.1-magnitude quake
Four people reportedly killed when home collapses in southern Fars province

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake killed four people on Friday in Iran’s southern Fars province, according to reports in local media.
Preliminary reports said four people -- all of them Afghan nationals -- had been killed when their home collapsed in Fars’ Khonj area.
According to Tehran University’s Geophysics Institute Seismology Center, the quake hit Khonj -- located roughly 1,000 kilometers south of Tehran -- at a depth of four kilometers.
