The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said on Monday that its forces carried out a military operation against the Houthi group in Yemen's Red Sea province of Hodeidah.
Weapons depots, storage facilities for explosive-laden boats, and naval mines were destroyed during the operation, coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said on X.
The coalition also "thwarted a plot for imminent attacks targeting waterways in the southern Red Sea," he added.
Yemen has been mired in conflict since the Houthis seized the capital Sanaa and several provinces in 2014, prompting a Saudi-led coalition to intervene in 2015 in support of the internationally recognized government.
A 2022 truce collapsed in July, and fighting has since escalated.
