MUSCAT

Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq on Friday exchanged holiday greetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to the official Omani News Agency.

In a phone call, the sultan gave Erdogan greetings and best wishes for the four-day holiday of Eid al-Adha – starting today across much of the Muslim world – as well as progress and prosperity for the Turkish people.

For his part, Erdogan expressed sincere congratulations and good wishes for the sultan and prosperity for the Omani people.
