Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday was shifted to the emergency room at Sheba Hospital in central Israel after he reportedly felt unwell, according to local media.

“His condition is good and he is undergoing medical tests,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a brief statement, according to the daily Times of Israel.

According to the Jerusalem Post newspaper, Netanyahu was brought to the emergency room after “briefly losing consciousness while at home in Caesarea in northern Israel.”

Netanyahu was “fully conscious upon arrival at the hospital.”

Netanyahu, 73, has served as prime minister in Israel at intermittent periods for more than 14 years.
