BEIRUT 

Missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been launched from Lebanese territory towards northern Israel, an Israeli official said early Monday.

An Israeli military spokesperson told Anadolu that the attacks targeted northern Israel but did not provide details on casualties or injuries.

The Israeli military also confirmed in a statement that sirens were sounded in the country’s northern region.

There has been no comment from the Lebanese Hezbollah group on the incident.
