Lebanon’s Aoun in Amman for first state visit to Jordan
Lebanese president arrives in Jordanian capital after visiting Cairo one day earlier

Lebanese President Michel Aoun arrived in Jordanian capital Amman on Tuesday for his first visit to the Hashemite Kingdom since assuming the presidency last October.
Aoun was formally received by Jordan’s King Abdullah II at an official reception ceremony attended by high-ranking Jordanian government and military officials.
The Lebanese president was accompanied on his visit to Jordan by a substantial delegation including Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, Interior Minister Nohad al-Machnouk, Economy and Trade Minister Raed Khoury and Presidential Affairs Minister Pierre Raffoul.
Aoun arrived to Jordan en route from Cairo, which he and his delegation visited Monday.
