Israeli military spokesman shares map marking targeted area in Tehran

TEL AVIV
The Israeli military issued an evacuation warning early Wednesday for a large area of Iran’s capital Tehran, threatening an imminent strike.
Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee shared a map on his X account highlighting a section of Tehran in red, indicating the targeted zone.
Adraee called on residents in Tehran’s 18th district to evacuate, announcing that Israeli forces would strike infrastructure belonging to the Iranian government in the area.
“Your presence in this area puts your life in danger,” he added.
Regional tensions have escalated since Friday, when Israel launched airstrikes on multiple sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
Israeli authorities said at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.
Iran said at least 224 people have been killed and more than 1,000 wounded in the Israeli assault.
