Israel says over 6,200 people injured in Iranian attacks

ISTANBUL

Israel’s Health Ministry said Tuesday that 6,239 people have been injured in Iranian attacks since the start of war with Tehran last month, including 108 in the past 12 hours.

In a statement, the ministry said 118 people remain hospitalized, including one in critical condition, 13 seriously, and 22 in moderate condition.

The ministry did not give details about any fatalities from the Iranian attacks, but Israeli media said that at least 24 people have been killed.
Israel maintains strict censorship on reporting losses from missile and drone strikes from Iran and Lebanon, restricting the publication of footage showing impact sites.

The US and Israel have maintained an air offensive on Iran since Feb. 28, killing so far over 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure while disrupting global markets and aviation.
