Israeli army says strikes mark first attacks in north since start of operation

ISTANBUL

The Israeli army said late Wednesday that it has begun striking targets in northern Iran for the first time since launching its military operation against the country.

In a statement, the army said the Israeli Air Force carried out the strikes “guided by the Navy and military intelligence.”
