Israel closes its missions across world: Foreign Ministry
No timetable provided for how long embassies will remain closed

ISTANBUL
Following an extensive attack on Iran, Israel has decided to close its embassies around the world and advised its citizens to remain vigilant and avoid showing Jewish or Israeli symbols in public, according to statements posted on various embassies' websites on Friday.
"In light of recent developments, Israeli missions around the world will be closed, and consular services will not be provided," said one of the statements.
According to the statements, Israel would suspend consular services and advise its citizens to cooperate with local security authorities in the event of a hostile incident.
No timetable has been provided for how long the embassies will remain closed.
Israeli citizens abroad were urged to complete a form to update the foreign ministry on their whereabouts to help coordinate the return of reservists and arrange rescue flights.
