Iran launches new missile attack against Israel
Sirens sound in several areas including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, says Israeli daily

ISTANBUL
Iran launched a new barrage of missiles toward Israel, the Israeli army said late Wednesday.
“The Israeli army identified that missiles were recently launched from Iran towards Israel,” the military said in a statement on X.
Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth daily said that sirens sounded in several areas including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and the Dead Sea due to the missile launches.
All five missiles were intercepted, Israel’s Channel 12 later reported.
No injuries or material damage have been reported so far due to the attack.
Regional tensions have escalated since Friday, when Israel launched airstrikes on multiple sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
Israeli authorities said at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.
Meanwhile, in Iran, 585 people have been killed and more than 1,300 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to Iranian media reports.
