Hezbollah and the Israeli army continued to clash on Friday, with the Lebanon-based resistance group said to have attacked four Israeli military sites in northern Israel.
Hezbollah said in separate statements that its fighters used rockets to target the Zibdeen site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms and the Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba Hills.
Its fighters targeted a group of Israeli soldiers near the Harash Baram settlement in northern Israel and attacked the Metula military base with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), it said.
In a related development, Lebanon's official National News Agency reported that the Israeli army continued artillery shelling of southern Lebanon, including the towns of Zibqin, Kfar Kela, and Yaroun.
The Israeli army claims to have struck Hezbollah military infrastructure and sites, but Lebanon denies these claims, stressing that the majority of Israeli military targets are civilians and civilian homes.
Tensions have risen along Lebanon's border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces as Tel Aviv presses ahead with its deadly offensive against the Gaza Strip, which has killed over 40,600 victims since Oct. 7 following an attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.
