Hezbollah says it conducted attacks on Israeli military points

BEIRUT, Lebanon

Hezbollah announced late Saturday that it carried out attacks on two Israeli military points near the southern border of Lebanon.

Missile attacks were launched on military posts of Jal al-Alam and Al Abad, Hezbollah said in a statement.

The Lebanese group said separately that it targeted military points in the settlements of Shumira and Dovev with guided missiles and appropriate weapons, as well as the Al-Bahri

military point housing intelligence equipment.

The Zibdin military point was also hit by a Falag-1 missile, it added.

Since Oct. 8, ongoing skirmishes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah have resulted in the deaths of 171 Hezbollah members, 30 Lebanese civilians, six Israeli civilians and 10 Israeli soldiers.
