Explosions were heard Monday in the eastern part of Iran’s capital, Tehran, with air defense systems activated in response, Mehr News Agency reported.
No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
US-Israeli strikes against Iran began on Feb. 28 and have reportedly killed at least 1,300 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
