Etihad Airways to suspend flights to Tehran

The airliner said flights to Tehran will be scrapped as of January 24

Etihad Airways will be suspending air flights to Iranian capital Tehran as of next week, the Abu Dhabi airliner said.

In a statement, the airliner said it will start reducing its five weekly flights to Tehran to twice a week from Dec. 25 until January 23.

Flights to Tehran will be scrapped as of January 24, the company said.

No reason was given for the move.
