A security personnel on Saturday died of wounds he sustained from a bomb blast last week, according to the state-run Al-Mamlaka television.
The security man had been injured as Jordanian security forces were defusing an explosive device in the town of Salt, west of the capital Amman, last week.
Saturday’s death brings to five the number of people killed in the blast. Eight other people were injured.
Jordanian government spokeswoman, Jumana Ghunaimat, said investigations revealed that last week’s explosive materials appeared to be similar to those used in last year's terrorist bombing in Fuheis town northwest of Amman, which left five security personnel dead and dozens injured.
