Daesh terrorists gave thousands of square meters of land over at once in southern Syria to Assad regime and Iran-backed groups without conflict.

Assad regime and Iranian forces thus ceased the U.S. and U.K.-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) operation and geared up Iran-Iraq-Syria corridor project.

After Daesh's leaving the land less than a day, Assad and Iranian forces filled in the area and cut advance of FSA on Syria-Iraq border which ceased the U.S. and the U. K.-backed FSA operation.

It is still unclear whether U.S. is planning a new operation to get over regime-Iran obstacle.

“We give them [FSA] training and equipment, and they fight against Daesh. That is all,” a Pentagon official, who spoke anonymously due restrictions on speaking to media, told Anadolu Agency.

''We don't help them to control an area or fight against the regime,'' said the official, adding, ''our only focus is Daesh. We are not a part of their struggle against the regime.''

Way for “Iran corridor” project cleared

Assad regime and Iran-controlled groups largely control western and middle parts of Syria.

If these groups contact with Hashdi Shabi forces in Mosul by reaching Syria-Iraq border in the northeast, Iran reaches its target to open to the Mediterranean via Iraq and Syria which is a strategic project for the country.

Assad regime and Iranian forces have started to shape a militia force comprised of Arab tribes in the country's northeast, according to Anadolu Agency reporter in the region.

Thousands of tribe members are being trained by Hashdi Shabi commanders coming from Iraq.

Tehran administration is financing the training of militia which is coordinated by a tribe leader, Nawaf Bashir.

The militia forces are expected to be deployed in Syria’s Daesh-held Deir ez-Zor province.
