AMMAN, Jordan
Jordan said Sunday three terror suspects were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces.
In a statement, the Public Security Directorate said two of the three men had recently escaped from a rehabilitation center, while the third was involved in the killing of a security officer last December in the southern city of Maan.
Amer Sartawi, a spokesman for the security directorate, said the hideout of the three suspects were identified in the country’s southeastern borders.
According to the spokesman, the three suspects had opened fire on security forces, which returned fire, killing them all.
