2 US soldiers die in Kuwait in 10 days
Army is investigating cause of death at Camp Arifjan
A US army soldier died at a military base in Kuwait, the US military revealed on Thursday, the second in last 10 days.
"We send our heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased," the US-based Army Times quoted a military statement as saying.
It added the army is investigating the cause of the death at the Camp Arifjan.
No other information was immediately provided, and the name of the soldier would not be released until 24 hours after the next-of-kin has been notified.
On Jan. 11, Staff Sgt. Anthony Bermudez, 28, died after being injured in a vehicle accident during a routine troop movement near Camp Buehring.
The Camp Arifjan is the largest US military base in Kuwait which hosts around 9,000 US troops in addition to hosting other troops from the UK, Romania and Poland.
