Israeli armed forces on Wednesday injured two Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

According to witnesses, Israeli forces raided a village of Nabi Salih, 14 kilometers (9 miles) north of Ramallah, and used rubber bullets, stun and smoke grenades on the Palestinians.

Separately, a pregnant Israeli woman lost her baby in the hospital after she was caught in a shooting near the illegal Israeli settlement of Ofra.

The woman had been critically wounded during the Dec. 10 drive-by shooting.

The Israeli armed forces rounded up 16 Palestinians in raids in Ramallah and its surroundings in response to the attack which wounded a total of six Israelis.

They frequently carry out wide-ranging arrest campaigns across the occupied West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.
