Iran launched a new barrage of missiles at central Israel on Tuesday, striking multiple sites in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Israel’s national emergency service, Magen David Adom, said 10 people were injured while running to shelters after air-raid sirens blared in several areas in Tel Aviv.

According to the public broadcaster KAN, an Iranian missile directly struck a building in the greater Tel Aviv area, injuring five people.

KAN did not specify the exact location of the injuries but said they occurred during Iran’s latest missile wave targeting Israeli territory.

Israeli police said the missile barrage caused property damage in Tel Aviv.

Israeli media also reported loud explosions in the greater Tel Aviv and Jerusalem area as air defense systems intercepted Iranian missiles.

Israeli Channel 12 said Iran launched approximately 30 missiles in the latest attack. Some landed across central Israel, including in Herzliya.

Iran’s Fars News Agency confirmed that Tehran used missiles and drones in the latest attack on Israel.

Regional tensions have escalated since Friday, when Israel launched coordinated airstrikes on multiple sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.

Israeli authorities said that at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds injured in Iranian missile attacks since Friday.

Iran, for its part, said that at least 224 people have been killed and over 1,000 others wounded in the Israeli assault.
