ISTANBUL
VakifBank advanced to CEV Champions League final after beating Fenerbahce with a Golden Set victory on Thursday.
Playing at Burhan Felek volleyball hall, VakifBank mastered a 3-0 -- 25-22, 25-14, and 25-22 upset of the city rivals in the second game of their semifinal series.
The game went to the golden set and the 92-minute match ended with a 15-12 win in favor of VakifBank.
The Final between VakifBank vs. Eczacibasi Dynavit will be held in Torino, Italy on May 20.
