Turkish wrestler Taha Akgul won his 11th European title by beating his Georgian opponent Geno Petriashvili on Sunday.
Akgul, 33, was victorious at Bucharest 2024 over a 5-4 win against Petriashvili in the men's 125 kg freestyle gold medal match.
Akgul won his fourth consecutive European title, following gold medals in Warsaw 2021, Budapest 2022, and Zagreb 2023.
Akgul won an Olympic gold medal at Rio 2016 and a bronze at Tokyo 2020.
