Russia dismisses Polish premier's accusations as 'unsubstantiated'
Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk had claimed Russia plotted 'terror attacks' on airlines

ISTANBUL
The Kremlin on Thursday rejected claims by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk about alleged Russian plans to carry out terrorist attacks on airplanes worldwide.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a press briefing that Warsaw often makes "unsubstantiated" accusations against Moscow and “even tries to maintain a leading position in this regard compared to other European countries.”
On Wednesday, Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk claimed that Russia plotted "terror attacks" on airlines "not just against Poland but against airlines globally."
Regarding reports of talks between Russia and Ukraine in Qatar on protecting nuclear facilities, Peskov said: “I leave this question without comment.”
He added that Russia’s position on resolving the Ukraine conflict was outlined by President Vladimir Putin earlier in the summer.
“It is absolutely clear and well-known to everyone,” he stated.
